CMSCrawler, the online service that keeps track of which content management system that is used on the world’s websites, is transferred to a separate company from the first of September 2013. The new company is called Viderem AB and will further develop and commercialize CMSCrawler and later create other similar services.
Viderem is owned by Infobytes founder and owner, Pär Abrahamsson who is commenting on the new company as follows:
– When we started CMSCrawler within Infobyte it was an internal project to generate leads for ourselves. Since then the focus of Infobyte has changed so we no longer have any apparent advantage of CMSCrawler in Infobyte. But we receive several requests from others about collaborations or licensing of data from CMSCrawler and it will be great fun to run Viderem alongside Infobyte.
